Terms of Service
Last Updated: October 23, 2025
Welcome to Precaize ("we," "our," or "us"). By using our AI-powered SOAP note generation service (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.
1. Description of Service
The Service uses artificial intelligence to transform unstructured patient notes and conversation transcripts into structured SOAP (Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan) notes. The Service is intended for use by qualified healthcare professionals to assist in clinical documentation.
2. Data Ownership and Responsibility
You, the user, retain full ownership of all data, including any Protected Health Information (PHI), that you submit to the Service ("Your Data").
We do not claim any ownership rights over Your Data. Our role is strictly that of a data processor, acting on your instructions to generate SOAP notes.
- Temporary Use: We use Your Data solely for the transient purpose of generating the requested SOAP note.
- No Permanent Storage: We do not store Your Data on our systems after the SOAP note has been generated and provided to you. The generated output is for you to copy and manage within your own secure systems, such as an Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and management of Your Data and the generated SOAP notes. It is your responsibility to review and verify the accuracy of all generated content before incorporating it into a patient's medical record.
3. User Obligations
As a user of the Service, you agree to:
- Be a qualified healthcare professional or an authorized representative of a healthcare organization.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including HIPAA, regarding the handling of patient data.
- Independently verify the clinical accuracy and appropriateness of any content generated by the Service before use.
- Not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm the Service, our users, or any third party.
4. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided as a documentation aid and is not a substitute for professional medical judgment. We are not liable for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the generated content, nor for any decisions made based on the output of the Service. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.
5. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
